W.R. Coleman

William Robert "W.R." Coleman, 77, of Milan passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2 at Zion Hope Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The Rev. Bobby Joe Ryals and the Rev. James Hammock will officiate.

W.R. was the son of the late Robert and Carrie Coleman Thompson and was married to Brenda Sue Peacock Coleman. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Beth Helton.

He was a member of Zion Hope Baptist Church, a Air Force Veteran and was self employed.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Coleman of Milan; 4 children, William Blaine (Julie) Coleman of Eastman, Debbie (Alan) Luke of Douglas, Tim (Sonja) Coleman of Ambrose and Teressa Lynn Coleman of Dublin; 4 step-children, Wendell (Jenny) Wingo of Milledgeville, Avery (Michelle) Wingo of Fitzgerald, Sherwin (Sheila) Anderson of Chauncey and Chris Harrell of Eastman; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1 at the funeral home.
