Willie Arthur "Bill" Ray

Willie Arthur "Bill" Ray age 83 of Scotland, Ga. passed away Tuesday, June 10 in Dublin. Mr. Ray was born in Alamo, Ga. on February 20, 1931. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was the son of the late William and Mattie McCrackin Ray. He was preceded in death by his wife Dora Lee White Ray and a son Wendall Ray and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 13th in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial in Scotland City Cemetery. The Rev Ray Harris and Rev Chuck Morgan officiating.

Survivors include his daughter Cindy Walker of Centerville; Three Grandchildren Joy (Chris) Ford of Woodstock, Sandy Walker of Thomasville and Rocky (Crystal) Ray of St.Clairville, Ohio; Four Great-Grandchildren Karissa Ford, Hunter Walker, Cody Ray and Cassie Ray; Two Sisters Ruby (Frank) Thomas of Alamo and Gail (Herman) Jump of Uvalda; Two Brothers Chester (Sharon) Ray of Warner Robins and Wayne Ray of Warner Robins; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, June 12th at Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena. The Family May be contacted at the family residence Mill Street in Scotland. Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena has charge of arrangements.
