Waunelle Taylor Harrell, 71, of Helena, died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Dodge County Hospital, Eastman.

Waunelle was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Taylor and Lucille Anderson Taylor; and a son, Michael Wethers.

She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and had worked with Alco Control before retiring.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 23rd in the chapel of the Lowe's Funeral Home.

The interment will follow in the Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hazlehurst.

The Rev. Donnie Sutton and the Rev. Ray Harris will officiate.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Sonny Harrell of Helena; 1 daughter, Rhonda Pittman of Weaverville, North Carolina; 2 grandchildren, Heather (Kasey) Kersey of Hazlehurst, Joshua Sickles of Savannah; 3 brothers, James (Sheila) Taylor of Baxley, Edward (Betty) Taylor of Hazlehurst, Robert (Debbie) Taylor of Hazlehurst; 1 sister, Margaret Eason of Baxley; 1 step granddaughter, Jade (Brenden) Johnson of Douglas and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 22nd at the funeral home.
