Vivian Watson Dopson Garrett

Vivian Watson Dopson Garrett, 81, of East Dublin, formerly of Jacksonville, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Dublin.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 10 at the Milan Church of God. Interment will follow in the Dopson Family Cemetery.

The Rev. Ralph Horne, the Rev. Danny Horne and Mr. Don Hicks will officiate.

Mrs. Garrett was a Registered Nurse and had retired from the Dodge County Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Edward Dopson; her parents, Issac E. and Loretta Langley Watson of Thomas County; and a son, Mark Vinson.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Garrett of East Dublin; 5 children, Jeniffer Williamson of McRae, Jed (Linda) Dopson of Jacksonville, Ted (Darlene) Dopson of Jacksonville, Doris Mitchell of Tarpens Springs, Florida; Charlie (Belinda) Dopson of Jacksonville; son-in-law, Jerry Williamson of Jacksonville; step-children, Joe (Carolyn) Garrett of Hazlehurst, Bobby (Debbie) Garrett of Dublin and daughter-in-law, Kim Garrett of Dublin; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, July 9 at Lowe's Funeral Home.
