Violet Elaine Poole Shurling, 75, of Helena, died on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Serenity Place in Dublin.

Violet was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Poole and Ellen Parker Poole; 2 sisters, Shirley Granger, Linda Purvis; brother, Tommy Poole.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Shurling of Helena; 2 sons, Scott Shurling of Helena, Kevin Shurling (Wendy King) of Helena; daughter, Missy (Drew) Hart of Dublin; grandchildren, Kevin Shurling, Coledin O'Neal and Breanna O'Neal; sister, Gloria (William) Knowles of Milan; brother, Terry (Marsha) Poole of Dublin; several nieces and nephews also survive.

All services are private.

It was Violet wishes of no flowers, but donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
