Vicki Brooks Strickland

Vicki Brooks Strickland, 78 of McRae, passed peacefully at her residence on Sunday, February 06, 2022.

Mrs. Strickland was the daughter of the late Stanley and Rachel Saunders Brooks. Mrs. Strickland was married to her loving and devoted husband, Richard Lane "Dick" Strickland Jr. for over 60 years.

Mrs. Strickland was a member of the McRae Presbyterian Church. She was a woman of great faith and loved sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone that she met. She lived her life for the Glory of God.

Mrs. Strickland was a Homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brooks Lane Strickland and niece, Tinsley Tracht.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Lane Strickland, Jr. of McRae; son, Rhett Lane Strickland of Macon; grandchildren, Rhett Lane Strickland Jr. of Warner Robins and Ashlan (Kaleb) Curl of Athens; Great-Grandchildren, Ronan, Ryker and Deliah; Sister, Sandra Tracht of Sarasota, Fl.; Nephews, Stan and Carter Tracht of Sarasota, Fl. and a host of loving cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Lowe's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. Lay Minister Norwood Davidson and Rev. Norman McCrimmon will officiate.

It is respectfully asked that all in attendance wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
