Velma Dicie McLean

Velma Dicie McLean, 76, of McRae, died on Friday, June 12th, 2020 in the Regency Hospital in Macon.

Dicie was a retired Rural Carrier with the United States Postal Service. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Dicie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Jackson McLean Sr.; her parents, Andrew Jackson Selph and Clyde Powell Selph Garrett.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 14th, 2020, at Macedonia Church Cemetery. The Rev. Alvin Lewis and the Rev. Brad Purvis will officiate.

Survivors include her 2 children, Danna (Chris) McCoy of Vidalia, Daniel Jackson (Nette) McLean of Helena; 3 grandchildren, Jordan White, Christopher McCoy, Elizabeth McLean; 2 sisters, Jackie (Jimmy) Spires of McRae, BJ Selph of McRae; 3 sister-in-laws, Jean Rawlins of Helena, Wanda (Ed) McLean of Helena, Geraldine Selph of McRae; special friend, Glynda Wurtz of Ellaville, Georgia.
