Toribio Zabala Moreno, 86, of McRae, Georgia passed away on May 24, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. He was born on April 16, 1938, in Cedral San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Toribio was a retired farm worker.

Toribio is survived by his sisters, Enedina Zabala and Julia Zabala of Mexico. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Toribio was preceded in death by his loving wife, Victoria Gonzalez Garcia, and his parents, Victor Iano Zabala and Locadia Moreno.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Lowes Funeral Home in McRae-Helena.

Funeral Services to honor and celebrate Toribio's life will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in McRae on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. He will be laid to rest at Gonzalez Family Cemetery. Father John Stephen Ariko will officiate.

Toribio will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
