Services for Timmy Lynn Towns of Towns will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Lumber City Church of God in Lumber City with interment at Telfair Memorial Gardens in McRae.

The Rev. David Deen will officiate.

Tim, 44, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. He was the son of Shirley Jewel Gay Towns of Towns and the late Marion Belvin Towns. He was married to Amy Williams Towns of Towns.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20 at the funeral home.

He had worked for Yancey Brothers and was a member of Lumber City Church of God. He had served in the United States

Air Force, Honor Guard and Desert Storm.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Jordy Towns and Alaney Towns of Towns; mother, Shirley Towns of Towns and mother-in-law, Louise Williams of Towns; brother and sister-in-law, John and Tiffany Williams of Glenwood; nephews, Peyton Williams and Colby Williams; niece, Halle Williams all of Glenwood; special cousin, Gregg C. Towns of Towns; uncle, Paul Gay of Alamo and aunt, Judy Gay of Alamo; aunts, Vermell Towns of Hazlehurst and Maxine Towns of Alamo; with a host of cousins and friends.
