Thomas Burnham of McRae, 73, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at McRae Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home, Helena with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, McRae.

The Rev. Danny Joiner, pastor of McRae Church of God, will be officiating.

Mr. Burnham was born in Telfair County and was a member of Holy Ground Baptist Church and co-owner of Burnham's Pine Straw and had been a truck driver of many years.

He was the son of the late Bartow and Lillie Selph Burnham. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Burnham.

Survivors include his wife, Doshia Burnham of Scotland; children, Natalie Bridges of Gray, Randall (Camille) Burnham of Gray, Scott (Debra) White of Eastman, Scarlett (Mark) Driggers of Eastman; stepchildren, Robert (Amanda) Amerson of Collins, Donna (Tony) Meeks of Soperton, Gloria (Clarence) Kolar of Soperton and Bobbette (Danny) Mott of St. Augustine, Texas; grandchildren, Tony Lewis, Britt Bridges Jr., Brittany Bridges, Scott White, Callen Sheffield, Dakota White, Layne White and Miranda Driggers; other special love one's, Brooke Amerson.

Mr. Burnham loved the Lord, his wife, children, family and his friends. He enjoyed life, laughing, helping others and antique cars.

The family will receive friends at from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at the funeral home and the family may be contacted at his wife's home in Scotland.
