Terry Daniel Cason, Sr.

Terry Daniel Cason, Sr., a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 59 in Vidalia, Georgia. Born on April 3, 1966, in McRae, Georgia, Terry's life was a testament to the value of hard work, dedication to family, and the joy of simple pleasures.

Terry was a self-employed lawncare service provider.

A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 6 at 4:30 PM. with Rev. Roswell Chapman officiating. Interment will be held at Helena City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Chapel on Tuesday, May 6 from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM prior to the service.

Terry is survived by his loving children, Daniel Cason of Helena, and Hank Cason (Shelly) of McRae. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Zachary, Alice, Lincoln, Chloe, and Josie Cason.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Herman Cason of Twin City, Luther Cason of Brunswick, Roy Cason and Tony Cason of Helena, Susy Harden of Rentz and Trecy Page of Dublin.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Elizabeth Cason and his parents, Herman and Iris Christine Cason.

Terry's life reflected the values he held dear: love for his family, dedication to his work, and a deep appreciation for the community that he called home.
