Teddy "Ted" Kimsey Smith

Ted Smith, 79, of Helena, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in McRae, Georgia

Ted was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Gail Smith; his parents, Homer Martin Smith and Ima Edna Courtoy Smith.

He was a Supervisor with Alltel until he retired.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 7th in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private. The Rev. L. S. Seabolt will officiate. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 6th at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Gail Smith of Helena; 2 sons, Shawn (Cindy) Smith of Jekyll Island, Georgia, Brian (Paula) Smith of Brunswick, Georgia; 1 grandson, Cody Smith of Nashville, TN; 2 sisters, Nellie (Gerald) Merritt of Atlanta, Joy Long of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
