Talmadge "Red" Padgett

Talmadge "Red" Padgett, 86, of Milan, died on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 in the Fairview Hospital in Dublin.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lula Frances Barnes Padgett; his father, Harvey Padgett; mother, Sudie Wiggins Padgett; 4 brothers, Rass Padgett, Ray Padgett, Douglas Padgett, Harvey Lee Padgett.

Talmadge was a member of Milan Baptist Church, retired from the Alltel Telephone Company and was a Veteran serving in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 02nd, 2021 in the Milan City Cemetery. Brother Aubrey Corbitt will be officiating.

Survivors include his children, Russell (Cathy) Padgett of Workmore, Georgia, Malinda (Leslie) Jones of Jacksonville, Georgia, Karen (Dennis) McCranie of Eastman, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Roxanna J. (Clint) Thigpin, Nikki (Kyle) McNeal, Jada (Sam) Burney; 4 great-grandchildren, Marley Kay & Mason McNeal, Amelia Thigpin, Eliza Burney; 1 sister, Betty Germund of Greenville, Tennessee.
