Sylvia Ginger Yawn Moon

Sylvia Ginger Yawn Moon, 86 of McRae, passed away Friday, September 08, 2023 at the Memorial Hospital in Savannah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Alvin Moon; daughter, Belynda Gail Moon; brother and sister, HD "Buck" Yawn and Margaret Weaver; parents, Spurgeon and Mary Lee Yawn.

Mrs. Moon was a Clerk at Ryals Drug Store.

Mrs. Moon is survived by her grandchildren, Brandi Gayle Ledford of McRae and Timothy Jason Ledford of McRae; great-grandchildren, Kyla Ledford, Bethany Ledford and Alvin Anderson; brother, Allen (Clara) Yawn of McRae; sisters, Norma Ray of McRae and Annette Hopkins of McRae; also, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lowe's Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2 P.M. – 3 P.M. The funeral service will follow at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Trinity Cemetery. Rev. Ray Harris will officiate.
