Sylvia Abbott, 88, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019, in the Addington Place of Dublin.

Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Edgar Abbott Jr.; her parents, Agnes Buhrkuhl Oberhaus and Adolph Henry (Buddy) Oberhaus; a daughter, Debra Shakarian and a grandson, Jon-Michael Abbott.

She was born in Kress, Texas and had lived in the McRae area before moving to Dublin. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Abbott was survived by 1 son, Stan (JoDeanne) Abbott of Blackwell, Ok; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Roth, Stephen Shakarvan, Nicole (Gaston) Rowell, Dreau (Jana) Abbott; 7 great grandchildren.
