Syble Aline Perry Nolen

Syble Aline Perry Nolen, 91 of McRae, passed away, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the McRae Manor Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emel Edgar Nolen Sr. and sister, Erma Catherine Ray.

Ms. Nolen worked with the FBI in Washing, DC for 22 years. After retiring from the FBI, she moved and worked for the Defense General Supply Agency in Richmond, VA. After meeting her husband, Emel Edgar Nolen Sr., she moved back to Georgia and worked for the Warner Robins Air Force Base. She later finished her working career at the Dublin VA Hospital.

Ms. Nolen is survived by her son, Emel "Eddie" Edgar (Debbie) Nolen Jr of Helena and daughters, Kathie T. Jordan of Pearisburg, VA and Sallie Ann (Zach) Sandlin of Savannah; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Janet Donaldson and Patricia Donaldson both of Statesboro and Mary Ann Hampton of Gray.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. at Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service and burial will be private.
