Steve Allen Murray

Steve Allen Murray, 67 of Scotland, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Fairview Park Hospital. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Joan Murray and parents, Woodrow Louis and Verna Lee Smith Murray.

Mr. Murray was a retired from Walmart and Maintenance at the McRae Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Murray is survived by his wife, Betty Murray of Scotland; children, Amanda (Scott) Hooks of Lumber City, Rebecca (Brad) Coleman of Jacksonville, Shawn (Jana) Murray of Alamo, Billy Murray of New York, Hailey Murray of Eastman and Billy Payne of McRae; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Linda Cartwright of Helena, Woodrow (Gayle) Murray Jr of Roberta, Ken (Leslie) Murray of Alabama, Dewayne Murray of Roberta, Donna Floyd of Hazlehurst, Mark Murray Sr. of Helena and Nette (Danny) McLean of Helena; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 02, 2022 from 1 P.M. – 2:45 P.M. in the Chapel Lowe's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. also in the Chapel. Burial will be private.

Rev. Danny Stokes and Mr. Thomas Murray will officiate.
