Shirley Singletary Brown

Shirley Singletary Brown, 84 of McRae, passed away Sunday, January 09, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband Cleon Gerald Brown and parents, Amos Singletary and Claudia Ellen Hall Singletary.

Ms. Brown was a retired Pharmacy Tech at the Telfair County Hospital and a Homemaker.

Ms. Brown is survived by her Daughters, Deborah (Donnie) Cravey of Cordele and Cindy (Randy) Grimes of McRae; 5 Grandchildren, Jennifer Cravey (Brandon McGovern) of Douglasville, Kyle (Emily) Cravey of Murfreesboro, TN, Lauren Cravey (Greg Speight) of Unadilla, GA, Victoria (John) Slack of Eastman and James (Heather) Grimes of Helena; 7 Great-Grandchildren, Brynn McGovern, Rylee McGovern, Cullen Speight, Mary Ruth Cravey, Mercy Grace Slack, Drake Slack and Noah Grimes; 1 Brother, Donnie Singletary of Hinesville.

Visitation for Ms. Brown will be Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. at Lowes Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Faith Baptist Church with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Pastor Bill Jones will officiate.
