Sandra Lea Allen, age 83, of Milan, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia.

Born on July 26, 1942, in Camden, Arkansas, Sandra was the daughter of the late Herbert and Loyce Tate Doolittle. She spent her life devoted to her family, her faith, and her work. A proud certified welder with General Motors Corporation, Sandra exemplified strength, dedication, and resilience in all she did.

Sandra was a longtime member of Bethel Methodist Church in Rhine, Georgia, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wesley T. Allen of Milan, Georgia; daughters Cathy Moorhead and Jennifer Griffith, both of Covington, Georgia; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Patton and a grandson Lane Moorhead.

Sandra's warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel. Rev Alvin Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.
