Services for Sallie Mae Hartley of McRae will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the McRae First Baptist Church and interment in Alamo City Cemetery.

The Rev. Bill Jones and the Rev. Todd Crosby will officiate.

Ms. Hartley, age 84, passed away February 14, 2013 in Vidalia Community Hospice after an extended illness. A native of Wheeler County, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Dollie Gibson and the widow of Aurice Aubron Hartley. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett Hartley.

She was a member of McRae First Baptist Church and had retired from the Alamo Shirt Factory.

She is survived by six children, Rick Hartley of Lyons, Ronnie (Medra) Hartley of Milledgeville, Randy (Shirley) Hartley of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Roger (Joan) Hartley of McRae, Rhonda (Tim) Banks of Manchester and Renee (Perry) Brown of Hazlehurst; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the funeral home.
