Russell Selph

Services for Russell Selph of Milan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Milan Baptist Church and interment will be in the Studstill Family Cemetery.

The Rev. Aubrey Corbitt, the Rev. Danny Horne and the Rev. Scott Grimes will officiate.

Mr. Selph, age 88, passed away on March 5, 2014 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He had been a farmer, school bus driver and on the ASCS Board.

Survivors include 3 sons, Wally (Mary Ann) Walker of Savannah, John (Cheryl) Walker of Milan and Russell D. (Scarlett) Selph of Milan; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Opel (Roy) Grimes of Milan, Lois Towns of Milan; 1 brother, Roy (Sandy) Selph of Milan; nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janetta Studstill Selph and his parents Jesup Scarborough Selph and Mattie Belle Davis Selph.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 7 at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Red Hill Holiness Baptist Church % Opel S. Grimes, 1162 Highway 280 West, Milan, Georgia 31060.
