Rufus Eugene Oliver

Rufus Eugene Oliver, 83 of McRae, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby D. Oliver and parents, Eugene and Rosa Graham Oliver.

Mr. Oliver was a self-employed Farmer and member of Scotland Baptist Church.

Mr. Oliver is survived by his daughter, Theresa Pope of Nicholls; Grandchildren, Nicole (Allen) Thompson of McRae, Adam ( Emma) Pope of McRae and Aaron Pope also of McRae; Great-Grandson, Chance Thompson of McRae; Brother, George Oliver of San Antonio, TX and Sister, Ella Mae (Joe) Rocha of Port Saint Lucia, FL.

Visitation for Mr. Oliver will be Friday, March 25, 2022 from 6-8 P.M. at Lowe's Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home, followed with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Rev. Chuck Morgan will officiate.
