Ruby Elizabeth Maloy White, 96, of McRae, died Thursday, April 13, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by husband, (RK) Rufus King White; her parents, Sarah Elizabeth Weeks Maloy and Dr.( Charlie) Charles John Maloy. She was a member of McRae First Baptist Church, Historian, Homemaker, Lab Tec and a Teacher. She graduated from Wesleyan College and Duke University.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 15th in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Helena City Cemetery.

The Rev. Alvin Lewis and the Rev. Todd Crosby will officiate.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services on Saturday in the chapel.

Survivors include her 4 children, Sarah (Will) Gillette of Pensacola, Florida, Kenneth (Lounell) White of McRae, King (Susan) White of McRae and Ed (Donna) White of McRae; 6 grandchildren, Ian (Mallory) Gillette of Pensacola, Kevin Gillette of San Diego, California, Jamie (Felica) Spires of McRae, Wendi (Scott) Brack of McRae, Kristen Bohannon of McRae and Jessica Bohannon of McRae.
