Ruby Jewel Bailey Padgett

Ruby Jewel Bailey Padgett, 94, of Jacksonville, died on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at her residence.

She was a member of St. Paul Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Willie Joe "W.J." Padgett; a son, Newt Padgett; a daughter, Sue Bowen; a son-in-law, Brent Dameron; her parents, Zack Taylor and Lilla Mae Rivers Bailey.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 16 at the Calvary Holiness Campgrounds.

Burial will follow in the St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery.

The Rev. David Yawn, the Rev. Daniel Dean, the Rev. Doug Padgett and the Rev. Nathan Padgett will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Monday, August 15 at the Calvary Holiness Campgrounds.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Padgett Patterson of Pearson, Frances (Tommy) Selph of McRae, Wimbric (Marian) Padgett of Milan, Joe (Judy) Padgett of Jacksonville, Ernest (Betty) Padgett of Jacksonville, Dorothy (Terry) Johnson of Jacksonville, Lilla Mae (Lee) Allen of McRae, Z.T. (Sandi) Padgett of Milan, Teresa Dameron of McRae and Johnny (Janice) Padgett of Jacksonville; 25 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
