Roy Spires, 77, of Jacksonville, Ga., died on Friday, March 16, 2018 in Dublin at the Serenity Place surrounded by his family.

He was a member of New Life Christian Center and was a farmer.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Brown Spires and his parents, Eschol Spires and Aileen Lowery Spires.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20th in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home and interment will follow in the Milan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 19th at the funeral home.

Survivors include his 4 children, Wanda (Darrell) Barlow of Jacksonville, Gary (Peggie) Spires of Jacksonville, Michelle Plyler of Eastman and Justin (Ashley) Spires of Jacksonville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Rayford (Emma Jean) Spires of Haynesville; 1 sister, Bernice (William) Ryals of Rhine.
