Rossie Lee Renew Purvis, 93, of Hazlehurst, passed away on July 8. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 10 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in McRae. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 10 at Lowe's Funeral Home.

Sister Jerrie Crowe will officiate.

Born in McRae, Georgia, Mrs. Purvis was the daughter of the late Moses Jackson and Beulah Bowen Renew and was the widow of Huley Purvis. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include 1 sister, Ruby Quinn of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
