Robert Eugene McGuyrt, 56, of Helena, died on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence.

Robert was born in Atlanta, but had lived in the Helena area for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Aldrich McGuyrt; his parents, Buster McGuyrt and Dorothy Ryan Allen.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 16th in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The Rev. Sonny Harrell will officiate.

Survivors include his son, Eric Pitts of Jackson, Georgia; aunt, Betty Robinson of Senoia, Georgia; brothers and sisters, Cindy (Jimmy) Bridges of Morrow, Roy (Rebecca) McGuyrt of Eatonton, Louise (Jimmy) Briley of Helena, Lonnie Lytle of Tyler, Texas, Tammy Walker of Texas, Tommy Lytle of Helena; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
