Robert Eugene (Gene) White, 83, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his residence.

He retired after 43 years with Union Camp in Savannah. Gene loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Harrelson White; his parents, Robert W. White and Ruby Lucille Couey White.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Harrelson Family Cemetery, 152 Harrelson Cemetery Road, Helena, Georgia.

The Rev. Glen Hancock will officiate.

Survivors include 2 children, Robert Don (Robin) White of Guyton, Cynthia J. White of Savannah;

1 sister, Diana (John) Scarbough of Alamo; niece, Kim Scarbough of Alamo; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Friday, May 18th in Lowe's Funeral Home, 170 8th Street, Helena, Georgia.
