Graveside services for Preston Albert Smith of McRae will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 5 at Telfair Memorial Gardens in McRae.

The Rev. L.S. Seabolt will officiate.

Smith, age 92, passed away April 3, 2013 at the Lower Oconee Community Hospital in Glenwood. He was the son of the late Grover Patrick and Ruth Towns Smith of Telfair County and the widower of Lucille Towns Smith.

He was a member of the Towns Church of God and was a farmer.

Survivors include daughter, Judy (Vernon) Johnson of McRae; son, Benny (Deborah) Smith of Macclenny, Fl; sisters, Dicy Smith Sammons and Myrtice Smith Guin both of McRae; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
