Plina "Dolly" Swartz

Plina "Dolly" Swartz, 79, of Dublin, died on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin.

Ms. Swartz was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Richard Swartz Sr. and her parents, Lawrence Irvin and Emma Justine Vandervogart Stevens.

She had retired from the New Smyrna Hospital with the Food Service Department.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 19 in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services in the chapel. Interment will follow the services in the Zion Hope Church Cemetery.

The Rev. Gene Hemmingway will officiate.

Survivors include 6 children, Jesse King of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Erik King of Odum, Georgia, Benjamin Rosenberg of Jacksonville, Florida, Pamela Raquet of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Harry Swartz Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida and Steve Swartz of Denton, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Burton Stevens of Oxford, North Carolina ; 1 sister, Laura Whitten of Nassau, New York.
