Patricia Courson Thompson of Lumber City, a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 67at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. She was born on Thursday, January 17, 1957, in Douglas, Georgia, to the late Johnny Courson and Annie Ruth Grantham Courson. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Terri Lynn Thompson and Jackie Thompson.

Patricia was self-employed as a video store owner.

Patricia's legacy is lovingly carried on by her adored grandchildren, Ethan Rentz (Natalie Walker) of Milan, and Sara Rentz (Victor Alvardo) of Hazlehurst. They, along with the many lives she touched, will forever cherish the memories and lessons Patricia imparted.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 11:00 A.M. at the Courson Family Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Lewis officiating. Interment will follow immediately.
