Graveside services for Obie Roberson of Dublin will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 at Friendship Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13 at the funeral home. The Rev. Howard Hart will officiate.

Roberson, age 85, passed away August 11, 2013 in Dublin. He was the son of the late Obie and Katie Bell Roberson Sr. and was the widower of Ada Lacy Merritt.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include 2 grandchildren, Travis Nolen of Soperton and Lacy Ann Nolen of Helena; daughter, Wanda Marchant; nieces, nephews and friends.
