Nancy Hilda McCrimmon

Nancy Hilda McCrimmon, 81, of McRae, died on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her residence.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 4th in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Friendship Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the chapel on Monday.

Pastor Keith Gaines and Nelson Gaines will officiate.

Hilda grew up in Fitzgerald, GA., where she met and married Henry Ford McCrimmon. After living a short time in Warner Robins, they moved to Telfair County, Ga., where she and her husband owned and operated McCrimmon's Grocery until 1971. In the late 70's, Hilda became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Dodge County Hospital for greater than 27 years.

She was preceded her death by her husband, Henry Ford McCrimmon; her parents, Edward Earl and Annie Gaines Robitzsch; and a brother, Lemuel (Buddy) Robitzsch.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Janie Wells of McRae and Nancy (Hal) Hilton of Ocilla; sister, JoAnn Davis of Gordon; 3 brothers, Edward Robitzsch of Las Vegas, Nevada, John Robitzsch of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Tommy Robitzsch of Centerville; 5 grandchildren, Kristi Hilton of Alma, Michael Hilton of Ocilla, Phil Wells, Kelly Wells and Teresa Jowers all of McRae; many great-grandchildren.
