Mildred D. Yawn McVey

Mildred D. Yawn McVey, 88 of McRae, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents George W. Yawn and Lora S. Yawn.

Ms. McVey was a Homemaker and member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Frank McVey of McRae; Sister, Georgia Mae LaFavor of McRae; Niece, Lisa (Eric) Jarrard of McRae; Nephews, Gary (Donna) Hickman of McRae, Steve Gardner of Warner Robins, Sammy Gardner of Warner Robins; Sister-In-Laws, Maude McVey of McRae, Dot McVey of McRae, Elizabeth Kinnett of McRae and Betty (Bud) Smith of Gray; also several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. McVey will be from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman. Eric Jarrard will officiate.
