Mildred Leona Bradley Brown

Mildred Brown, 99, formerly of Helena, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church in McRae with interment in the Helena City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friday before the services in the church.

The Brother Bill Jones and the Brother Bobby Joe Ryals will officiate.

Grandma Brown was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Martha Hindman Bradley and was the widow of Will Frank Brown. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lee and a son, Elton Brown.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Maurice Brown of Helena, Martha (George) Evans of Lawrenceville, Thomas (Jacqueline) Brown of Lyons, Sarah (Bob) Stembridge of Vidalia; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
