Max Lamar Cravey, Jr.

Max Lamar Cravey, Jr., 80 of Milan passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at Piedmont Healthcare. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerry Ann Cravey and parents, Max (Sr.) and Ruby S. Cravey.

Mr. Cravey retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base as an Equipment Specialist.

Mr. Cravey is survived by his children, Jeff (Sandy Pitts) Cravey of Milan, Jina (Billy Joe) Adams of McRae and Marla (Dawson) Harris of Gray; grandchildren, Brandi Lockamy, Emily (Shane) Hobbs , Jaycie Cravey, Evan Adams, Lauren Adams, Carson Harris, Chandler Harris and Raylee Harris; great-grandchildren, Madison Lockamy and Pressley Lockamy; special dog, Gal; sisters, Margaret McCullough of McRae and Eugenia Gore of Lumber City; sister-in-law, Susie Cravey of Milan; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry (Ginger) Cowart of Macon, Van (Nancy Pyle) Cowart of Thomasville, Andy (Sari) Cowart of Milledgeville and Angelia Michael of Brunswick.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Lowe's Funeral Home from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church at 2 P.M. Pastor Bill Jones will officiate. Burial will take place at Milan City Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Faith Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
