Mary Catherine White

Mary Catherine White of Cedar Grove passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Shamrock Nursing Home. She was 81. Mary was born January 07, 1942 in Armory, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James B. White, along with her parents and siblings.

After she married James, she worked by his side farming for many years. Later, she worked at different shirt and pants factories and also cooking at different Friendly Gus stores. Some of her favorite times were working in her yard and flowers while she could be heard singing gospel music.

She was a member of Snowhill Community Church.

She is survived by her children, Dell Hall (Sonny) of Dublin, Gilbert White (Teresa) of Cedar Grove, Wayne White (Marsha) of McRae and Gerald White (Fiancé, Bonell) of McRae; 7 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, February 01, 2023 at Cedar grove Cemetery. Rev. L.S. Seabolt will officiate.
