Mary Alice Reynolds, age 66, of Helena, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Georgia, on January 27, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1960, in Jacksonville, Georgia, to the late George Horton and Mattie Tribble Horton.

Mary was memorialized by cremation. Per the family's wishes no public memorial service will be held. Visitation with the family will be held at Lowes Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 6 PM – 8 PM.

Mary spent her life in the warm embrace of Georgia, where she met and married the love of her life, Ricky Reynolds, of Helena. Mary's pride and joy were her daughters, Leighanne Reynolds, (Kendya Hughes) of McRae; Karen Strom, (Brian) of Milan; and Kelli Reynolds (Kristina) of Helena. The legacy of Mary's love is also carried on by her 11 grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Her siblings, Melissa Webb, and Gail Cliett, (James), of Jacksonville, and her brother, Larry Horton, (Ann) of Helena, will remember her for her unwavering support and the countless memories they shared. Mary's best friend, Donna Aldridge of McRae, will miss the countless hours they shared, filled with laughter and mutual support.

Mary's role as a homemaker was a source of great pride and fulfillment. She created a warm and welcoming home where everyone was always invited.

As we bid farewell to Mary Alice Reynolds, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart generously given. Mary's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her influence will forever be felt in the lives of her family and friends, who were blessed to know her.
