Mary Ellen Christian, age 78, of McRae passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19 at the Milan Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna, Georgia. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18 at Lowe's Funeral Home.

The Rev. L. S. Seabolt will officiate.

Mary was the daughter of the late John Randolph and Delia Bonner Causey of Dooley County and was the widow of Bobby Quinn Christian Sr. She was a member of Milan Baptist Church and had retired from the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include three sons, Bob (Glenda) Christian of Baxley, Randy (Dorcas) Christian of Milan and David Christian of Lumber City; six grandchildren, Michael Christian, Kevin (Michele) Walls, Luke (Hailey) Christian, Dory Christian, Erica (Scott) Heith and Zach Christian; five great-grandchildren, Kolby Walls, Kaden Walls, Brayden Christian, Jackson Scott and Kayleigh Scott; one brother, Fred Causey of Vienna; and many friends.
