Mary Lowry Atchley

Mary Atchley, age 70, of McRae, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, in Vidalia.

Mary was the daughter of the late Paul Avery and Hilda Girardeau Lowry.

She was a member of the McRae United Methodist Church. And had retired with CCA, McRae.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The Rev. Stacey Stone will officiate.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Atchley (Arthur) Treat of Hazlehurst; 3 grandchildren, Sean Bentson of Victoria, Texas, Stephani (Chase) Varnadoe of Hazlehurst and Thomas Treat of Hazlehurst; 2 great-grandchildren, Brayden Bentson and Chasen Varnadoe; 2 sisters, Anne (James) Kirkland of Dublin and Harriet "Happy" Lowry of Oriential, North Carolina.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8 at the funeral home.
