Services for Martha Ruth Bowen of Helena, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Helena Baptist Church with interment in the Scotland Cemetery.

The Rev. Roy Grimes will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bowen, age 88, passed away February 6, 2013 at McRae Manor Nursing Home.

She was the daughter of the late Luther A. and Mattie Bass Bush and the widow of Payton Bowen.

She was retired from Roydon Wear and was a member of Helena Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Mathis (Mildred) Bowen of McRae and David Bowen of Helena; 2 granddaughters; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be given to McRae Manor Nursing Home, Activity Dept., 160 South First Ave., McRae, Georgia 31055.
