Martha Rebecca Breedlove Hampton

Martha Rebecca Breedlove Hampton, 79, of Jacksonville, died on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at her residence.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 24 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial in the Jacksonville City Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Franklin Hampton; her parents, James Theodore Breedlove and Rona Bell Ashley Breedlove.

The Rev. Gary Carter, the Rev. Darrell Barlow, the Rev. Aubrey Corbitt, and the Rev. James Dupree will officiate.

Mrs. Hampton was a member of the Jacksonville United Methodist Church. She had worked at Roydon Wear- Wilkerson Manufacturing for 40 years, Telfair State Prison and Husqvarna.

Survivors include her son, Bruce (Kay) Hampton of Milan; 2 grandchildren, Jayden Hampton and Bryson Hampton; 1 brother, Ed Breedlove of Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 23 at the funeral home.
