Services for Margaret Whatley Weaver, 88, of McRae will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 18 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home, Helena. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, McRae.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17 at the funeral home.

The Lay Minister Norwood Davidson and the Rev. Glenn Hancock will officiate.

Margaret, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Whatley and Lester Weaver; parents, Spurgeon Wesley and Mary Lee Davis Yawn; children, Ralph Whatley, Steve Whatley, Dawn Dyal; granddaughter, Sherri Walker; brother, Henry David (Buck) Yawn.

She was a member of the Helena United Methodist Church and had retired as Manager of Fred's Store in McRae.

Survivors include her daughter, Patsy (Kenneth) Walker of Helena; 2 grandchildren, Ginger (Darrel) Jones of Helena, Josh (Nicole) Dyal of Columbus; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Allen (Clara) Yawn of McRae, Norma Ray of Hazlehurst, Sylvia (Pete) Moon of McRae and Annette (Jimmy) Hopkins of McRae; sister-in-law, Joann Yawn.
