Maloy Lee Spires, 79, of Dublin, died on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

Mr. Spires was preceded in death by his parents, Rena Conley Spires and Levi Spires; brothers and sister, Thomas Spires, LeRoy Spires and Irene Minshew. Maloy lived most of his life in Rhine, Georgia and served as a caregiver for his parents much of that time.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Dexter Community Center.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Benita (James) Spires of Dexter, Dale (Bruce) Townsend of East Dublin; Carroll Spires of Alamo; Cindy Harper, Eddie Lee Black, Mary Black, Howell Minshew, Judy Peterson and Valarie Spires; sister-in-laws, Lillian Spires of McRae and Patsy Warren of Abbeville. Several great- nieces and nephews and several great- great nieces and nephews also survive.
