Lucille Johnson Smith

Lucille Johnson Smith, age 96, of Chauncey, died on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Eastman, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Frank Smith; 2 children, Frances Smith and Ricky Smith; parents, Henry and Clyde Johnson.

Lucille was a member of Providence Primitive Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Providence Primitive Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow the services at the Zion Hope Church Cemetery.

Elder Matt Yawn will officiate.

Survivors include 3 children, Carolyn (Phillip) Altman of Orland, Florida, Ann Bell of Madison and Jimmy (Teresa) Smith of Dublin; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eloise Smith of Chauncey and Mildred Carter of Adrian.
