Lilla Esther Bailey Thomas

Lilla Esther Bailey Thomas, 86 of McRae, passed away, Tuesday, December 06, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Thomas; son, Johnny Thomas; grandson, Joshua Thomas and parents, Zachary and Sular Mae Bailey.

Ms. Thomas was the Program Technician for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service with the Farm Service Agency.

Ms. Thomas is survived by her children, Donna (Rusty Bough) Lynn Howard and Mike (Joy) Thomas; Grandchildren, Amy (Jeremy) Kaiser, Christopher (Christen) Willcox, Casey (Lindsey) Thomas, Jesse (Megan) Thomas, Nicole (Ross) Roberson and Jordan Thomas; 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Thomas; sisters, Gerry (Wesley) Hartley, Fran (Norman) Jarrard and Ann (Jimmy) White; special daughter, Lisa Boone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 08, 2022 from 1:30 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the McRae 1st Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 P.M. Eric Jarrard and Rev. Mike Deloach will officiate. Burial will take place at Telfair Memorial Gardens.
