Lawrence D. "Buck" Jones, 86, of Milan, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born in Yulee, Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.

Mr. Jones was retired from the Southern Railroad. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He is survived by one daughter, Vicki (Phillip) Lewis, one brother, Larry (JoAnn) Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, August 16 at 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial to follow at a later date.
