Laura G. Allen, of Helena, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015, in Glenwood.

Laura, 80, was married to Selmar Allen of Helena. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Leila Dykes Giles Harrell; father of her children, James E. Gore, Jr.; a son, Freddy Gore; a step-son, Donald Richard Allen.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment in the Sandhill Church Cemetery.

The Rev. Freddie Smith and the Rev. Jeff Tinsley will officiate.

Survivors include her husband, Selmar Allen of Helena; 3 daughters, Ann (Frank) Thompson of Glenwood, Ruby (Arthur) Campbell of Glenwood, Cindy Hayes of McRae; 3 sons, James O. (PeeWee) Gore of Rhine, Billy E. Gore of Eastman, Tony (Beverly) Gore of Eastman; step-son, Charles (Cheryl) Allen of Tampa, Fla; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margaret Soto of Macon, Betty Reynolds of Lumber City, Doris (Buck) Cravey of Helena; 1 brother, Lewis (Sonny) Harrell of Helena; nieces and nephews.
