LaJoy Royal Boney

LaJoy Royal Boney, 85 of Rhine, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin R. Boney; parents, Ned and Carrie Bell Royal; grandsons, Kyle Barron and Jake Boney and 2 brothers, Sonny Royal and Wimbric Guy Boney.

Ms. Boney was an Interior Designer and Homemaker. She was a member of the Telfair County School Board for 17 years and also a member of the China Hill Church.

Ms. Boney is survived by her children, Donna (Ronnie) Barron of China Hill, Grady (Sabrina) Boney of China Hill and Shala (Freddie) Hattaway of China Hill; 5 Grandchildren, Christy Barron, Glen Hattaway, Brandi (Dwayne) Williams, Jordan Hattaway and Reagan Boney; 9 Great-Grandchildren, Kole Barron, Kylie Barron, Kailie Barron, Jais Hightower, Kade Hightower, Axel Hightower, Lex Williams, Lake Williams and Jenna Hattaway.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at China Hill Church. The funeral service will be, Friday, December 31, 2021 at 2 P.M. at China Hill Church with burial at, China Hill Church Cemetery. Pastor Scott McDuffie will officiate.
