Kitty Sue Black, age 63, of Milan, Georgia, passed away on October 4, 2026, at her residence.

Born on January 11, 1963, Kitty Sue Black lived a life centered on family and hard work. She worked as a cashier at Country Pride, where she was part of the daily lives of many people and carried out her work with steady dedication.

Memorialization was by cremation. Services will be private.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Joe Black, Sr.; her son, Franklin Joe “Fatman” Black, Jr.; and her parents Johnny Mack Roberts and Shirley McDade Roberts.

Kitty is survived by her son, Timothy Black (Chrystal Hughes) of Milan; her daughters, Jennifer Mitchell (Jeff) of Covington, and Melissa King (Dillon) of Dexter; twelve grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Hubert Webb (Mary) of Griffin, and Johnny Roberts (Dink) of Fayetteville; and by her sister, Connie Knowles of Griffin along with several nieces and nephews.

Kitty Sue Black will be remembered with love by her family and by all who knew her. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
